I briefly considered writing a fic along the lines of "soulbond across different universes in which the twain shall never meet except, perhaps, briefly in a dream." But I don't think I can pull that one off. Fuck, I wish I could draw.

Frontier She-Wolf?

Source is a Teen Wolf fan. While I don't think the canons mesh anywhere well enough for a crossover (I realize that's YMMV in fandom), the artwork does make me think that the world needs more "woman in man's garb joins Third Ordo and is not discovered for years, perhaps not until she's killed in battle" fic.
(And, yeah, I just realized the double entendre of my post title, which might or might not be a theme in the fic w/r/t sexism.)
